Mechongué - Fiction by Arturo Prins

MECHONGUÉ – 2021

Director: Arturo Prins

Screenwriter: Arturo Prins

Genre: Fiction

Running time: 29 min.

A road in the Pampean plain becomes the scene of a mysterious encounter between a gardener and a ragged, trampy old man. Between the two an unexpected communication arises that leads our protagonist to a direct clash with the uncomfortable, the unpleasant.

In a suspicious and dangerous world, daring behavior can have consequences. Like another story taken from “One Thousand and One Nights”, Mechongué is an invitation in times of social distancing, of Covid, of puritans and millennials in virtuality, to the courage of close and intimate contact with the unknown.
